I thought I'd upload a drawing that I did for TMO some years ago. I had an idea to put as many references of David & his sci-fi/fantasy work (including MFU) into one image.

I very much enjoyed doing it at the time; trying to think of film titles etc. that were relevant.

Yes, I used Uncle Vanya as a verbal reference. It's on the notice board showing at screen 6. Incidentally, I read Chekhov's plays back in the 70's along with Maxim Gorky, Lermontov etc, and all because of a certain Russian agent.

I actually have the poster for Around the World Under the Sea, which is why it has prominence in the drawing, but it's far to big (quad crown, I think they call it) so I've never been able to display it.
