At work we have to change our password every 90 days (because the programme demands it, stupid thing) and after using up all the foul language I could spell with 133t-speak (which also included calling the programme names as often as possible) I switched to using various parts of names, Napoleon and Illya and Alexander. I will have to change my password four more times before I leave the job, so my last password will have to be a real doozy. I'm looking forward to figuring out what that one will be.

I've never used fandom names because I think they'd be too obvious. Instead, I try to think of something I associate with that website - it could be the person who recommended that site to me, or a memorable purchase, or something else that reminds me of that site. That way I have a different password for every site, it's something obscure that (hopefully) only I would think of, and it also makes the passwords very easy to remember.

At work I'm fond of using references to maths. My wallpaper at work is currently a pretty picture of the Mandelbrot set, so my password is directly related to that.
