This was a 1969 hit for The Zombies, so it’s a little outside the MFU timeline, but I’ve included it because it’s such an evocative video, and it’s the song used in the NCIS flashback episode So It Goes.

Noooo! 😱 Not heard of The Zombies! Get onto YouTube double quick! She’s not there Is still my fav, but this one is pretty good too. This song, according to Wikipedia, has been used a lot in soundtracks to evoke the Sixties psychedelic era. She’s not there was their debut single written by band member Rod Argent about his girlfriend, who called off their wedding and broke his heart. So many good songs are born from heartbreak, aren’t they?
