Since both U.N.C.L.E. and THRUSH used technology that was very advanced for the sixties, I was wondering what kind of ultra-sophisticated gadgets they'd be using now. Manned satellites? Lethal phone apps? Cybernetically enhanced agents? Does anyone have any ideas?

The mind boggles, especially with the miniaturism of cameras and all the viruses. I'm sure there would be a unit of UNCLE just devoted to computer programming and hacking.

It wouldn't be the first time they've tried for a set of super soldiers... I don't know if UNCLE would go that route, though, THRUSH, definitely, but UNCLE... I just don't know. I'd like to think not.

Imagine the malware THRUSH would devise! U.N.C.L.E. would need an entire section dedicated to keeping their agents' phones clear.

The mind boggles! I totally agree about their phones. could you imagine what they would do with an Amazon Echo?

I truly think uncle would be devising malware too, if only to sabotage all Trush computers and software applications.

Something simple and not so new, actually: do you know that pace-makers are controlled by wi-fi? Mine is. A lot of Heads of State are old and some, probably, are equipped with pace-makers.

in one of the fan stories Illya is playing with "super balls" to try to develop some footwear with extra bouncy soles. I guess these shoes would be common in he Uncle armoury now :-)
And in another story they are developing miniaturised spy camera's a bit like nowadays drones. Maybe they would have developed drones with stealth capabilities :-)
