A few years back, Shayheyred offered to give any cousin who asked the MFU books she had won from a Daily News reporter.  I said that I would like to have them and she sent them to me.

Now, I am slowly purging my apartment in anticipation of relocating out West so I feel it's only fair to make the same offer.  If any cousin would like to have all ( Read more... )

If the books are in good condition, you might want to sell the unclaimed ones on eBay instead of a used book store. An intact Vampire Affair alone usually goes for double digits. For some reason that was a favorite with fans back then and was just read too many times. Even my copy looks like it was attacked by werewolves.

Maybe I'm a Goody Two-Shoes, but I didn't buy them. They were given to me freely and I wouldn't feel right selling them. How ridiculous is that?

That makes sense. I felt that way about taking tax deductions for donating my parents' stuff to charity. I wasn't giving up anything I had paid for or could use.
