And that is probably the rum he is drinking in the Yo Ho Ho and the Bottle of ep. Although there might not have been a lot of choice there.

Didn't someone comment in a discussion some time ago that Illya never actually drinks vodka in canon, it's only a fanon trope that all Russians drink vodka.
