I do, dear. That's why velvet revolutions are so glorious. Would that all disputes could be achieved without bloodshed, but that is not the way of the world. That people are still prepared to stand up and be counted and, if necessary, fight and die to preserve freedom is also a glorious thing. The tragedy is that it is still necessary.

I was on Friends of Friends and some guy was going on about how the only vets that should be honored are the WWII ones and that the rest of the wars after were soldiered by people who joined for selfish reasons and don't deserve our respect or good will.

It made me cry.
