Yesterday I tried to be a part of Community Supported Agriculture but the only place I found that would deliver yummy boxes of farm fresh organic produce surprise packages to my area do not have a web site. I emailed them buy they've yet to reply. I did see an article that profiled them though and I think they are too expensive for my budget

Don't know if you indexed this one yet, but these cutiepie girls worked incredibly hard for about three years to open up the Santa Ana Farmer's Market last year.

I knew it was there but have never been. What I did NOT know was the story behing it. That's pretty amazing what these girls did. I was moved enough to read every single news link on their website. I'm totally there this coming Wednesday. It's right by my work and I've always meant to go. It's the one year anniversary.

I had aparagus for supper last night! Yumm! I jsut blanced then and they were perfect, so sweet and excellent I forgot to even butter them!

Actually yes I did. About two years ago I used to make a point of going to Color Me Mine on Tuesday nights I think it is just so I could hit the farmers market at the same time. It was a lovely way to spend a summer's evening.
