Hee. I agree mostly.

And I don't care how wrong the law was, because that scene kicked way too much ass.

This came to me last night as I was trying to fall asleep.

Celeste doesn't want anyone to know that Veronica might be Jake's daughter, so she never told whoever drafted the contract what her concerns were. The legal language just went to "Veronica Mars gives up all her claims." Celeste knew that the Veronica in the document was under 18 but didn't realize the importance of it. I don't think the Kanes had a lawyer at the settlement, although even if they did, Veronica wasn't there and her age wasn't mentioned. Keith and his lawyer, whose name I forget, had no reason to mention it either.

That's my version and I'm sticking to it

Can Keith sign away Veronica's claims? Cause that's kinda what it also sounded like. But dunno if THAT works either.

But I like your retcon there, Steph.

And HI! Maria!!! I agree that that wasn't much of a cliffhanger, though there are a lot of other threads to be wrapped up, too...still.

I *think* Veronica can undo anything done in her name until some specified period (like a year or two) after she turns 18.

I want to know what exactly Weevil and his gang are planning on doing. It can't be good.

Probably just duct-tape him to the flagpole....
