I'm intrigued and can't wait to see where you're going with this. your chibi Roy is pretty adorable. ^^ Hughes is just awesome with kids. And whatever happened to that universe's Edward must suck big time. :s

Thanks for the comment! I thrive on them. As for what happened to the Ed Elric of that particular AU--he'll turn up in one of the later sections of the story, and demonstrate just how thoroughly messed-up he is. As is the case in so many "might-have-been" matters, one small difference in a chain of events caused ripples that spread out all over the world and through some twenty or more years of history.

Thank you! mfelizandy February 21 2008, 18:05:44 UTC
I will definitely be posting more of this story over the weekend. I've got the next four or five scenes written, but there are a few tweaks I want to make before posting them. As for where it's all going--I have a sort of "pencil sketch" idea of where the narrative is headed, and what the final explanation of all the weird events will be...but what happens between now and then is very vague as yet. For one thing, I need to get Hohenheim to respond to his cues...

I'm really interested to see where this goes. The pics that inspired this are some of my faves be that artist. And your writing is really doing them justice. :D

Fanart touches off a lot of my fic-writing activity. I'm glad to hear the story suits the imagery that inspired it! I'm working on the next sections now--the only question is how many scenes will be ready to post by Saturday.
