Well. *takes a deep breath* Previously, I had a title immediately pop into my head (which NEVER happens with me so I went with it). This title is a name of a song (this is usual for me), and when I thought about it, the entire cd seemed to fit and I was going to write chapters based on that. However, it was getting highly convoluted in my head and I realized that uhh...no sci-fi fans were probably going to understand where I was coming from unless they too were musical freaks like me. I was originally also going to focus on the wraith a lot (battle scenes, etc) and now I'm thinking, not so much (this could change once writing really happens, but you understand). I'm trying to focus on the relationship and development, it's downfalls, its inevitable (not entirely happy) ending, and what I had before wasn't pushing me that way.

So it's more of a structural redesign than an outline change, I guess. But you know. *waves hand* Technical terms...

And, wow. That's the most I've written about my fic yet.

For mine, I decided that nothing beyond The Brotherhood would happen. Which is, uh, kinda difficult, but I love my idea of what I'm going to write that I have in my head at the moment. At first I thought maybe I should start a few days after they get back from Dagan and discover, ohgod!Wraith are on their way here! Then I changed my mind a day or two ago, and decided to start during The Brotherhood, instead. Or atleast directly after they get back to Atlantis.

asdlfkj;lawe! This is kinda frustrating. Bah. (Though it's also surprisingly enjoyable. Which is a good thing. I guess.)

LOL I totally understand. My prompt at least gives me a concrete spot to start--with Sumner not dying. But then I can't resist the bit inside of me that says "give these people their past!" and so most of what I have so far (umm not a lot) is all John's past. Ah, well, I do better when the dealine is shoved in my face. Heh.
