TV rambling and a birthday or two

Why, oh, why am I poor? Best Buy is having a sale on all FOX DVDs which means X-Files, Dark Angel, The Lone Gunmen, Millennium, and SGA! I'll be lucky if I can afford to buy one set. Now I have to decide which one!

So now, it appears to be crimsonsenya's birthday today. Sadly, without my computer I am very slow in knowing these things and so I apologize

Not just his brother but his father too!! A double dose of ZOINKS!! lol

I mean the minute I saw his brother I remembered him from last year and how he was working with President Logan, so we know he is evil. But Jack's dad is evil too?????

I gotta say Jack brings sibling rivalry to a new level, torturing his brother. The part that made me chuckle was he didn't even hesitate, he just said hi to his nephew and then went in for the ass kicking. lmao!!

Haha...what I was surprised at was the fact that the evil guy from last year is Jack's brother. I mean, how odd. And what a strange mix of a family! Jack saves the US from the guys his brother sponsers.

I LOVE the torturing! At first, I was nervous he wouldn't catch on that his brother was in on it. Then I was afraid he wouldn't have the guts to do that. I was wrong. I failed Jack. *gives a dramatic sniffle*

I am loving this season, indeed.

I was tempted to buy another set, too (Firefly), but in the end, XF is the only show I'd spend money to buy dvds for. I'm having a ball watching the special features!

Is it only me that wants to see Dean referencing his growing age
No! I've been curious about how they're going to handle his aging, but then I'm assuming the show is going to last that many seasons until JA's age become more obvious. I don't mind they're not saying anything now, but when (if) Dean turns 30, I'd love for it to come up.

Oscars - what movies I think should get nominated rarely do, so I don't pay attention anymore. Did Casino Royale get one?

See, I don't think this will happen too soon. I mean, I think the show would have to go on until JA's 35 or so. And maybe not even then. He's just a stunning piece of art. ;-)

Speaking of Heroes, this week's ep was good! I love that Claire told Zach her secret again ^^ I could never see them part.

LOL Be glad I just caught the Sci Fi rerun of Monday's ep or I would have strangled you for telling me what happened!! Until I get my computer back you have to be quiet about what happens on Heroes since I watch 24 in that timeslot now.

I just bought both seasons of Dark Angel from Amazon and they arrived yesterday. I never watched the series, but have gotten hooked from reruns I've seen on SiTV. I am looking forward to watching them from the beginning.

But most importantly? Thank you for making what is potentially the best romance story on TV today.

I am loving the Danny/Jordan story. It almost makes up for the awful Matt/Harriet story. Am I the only one that thinks Jordan is in love with Jack? I'm thinking there's a love triangle in the future. VP of Illiterate Programming. That was too funny. I haven't even watched 5 minutes of reality TV. It just bores me. I can't wait to see Masi on the show next week. He was on Leno recently and he is just adorable.

Yeah, I got hooked watching reruns on Sci Fi this fall. It's cheesy but cute. And God knows I love Michael Weatherly.

No, there's many fans of the Jordan/Jack thing. I thought that's what they were going for at first, and then Danny came through. I don't think Jordan really likes Jack that way. I think they're destined to be good friends, I think they respect each other. But I guess we will have to see. :-)
