you are quickly becoming one of my favourite slashers - this was just filled with so much angst and hate and misplaces emotions from Sam, and Dean ever the loving caring overprotective brother - I absolutely love your stories, and this one is no exception. Some seriously good writing you've got going on, can't wait for the next update.

Oh my god. Please say that you are going to continue this. Usually I have to have my happy endings, but I don't care how you end it as long as you continue it. I love your Sam and Dean. They are so messed up.

You're going to hate me because this is the intended ending. It's meant to be tragic and a bit abrupt. *ducks from flying tomato*

Thank you though for the comment! Yes, I went a bit out of my way to make them messed up in this fic. I am glad you ended up liking it. I was afraid it was possibly too OOC...but I just felt like emphasizing a few traits in their personalities.

Okay, so you know how much I love you right now? Yeah. LOADS. This story was... wow. I had so much love for it just from the teasers! But all of it together? It was just amazing. Mind boggling. You always have this extra underlayer of something in your story, like in HCW, that leaves me breathless. I was literally on the edge of my seat reading this (until I got kicked off, of course).

My favorite part? The game! Oh. It broke my heart. Seriously. Dean searching for Sam, so desperate and so sure. And how he found out which one was Sam?

Dean zeroed in. “Sam, do you love me?”

“As my brother, always.”

I love Sam in this. So much. How Dean wants Sam so bad, how he wants him all and and Sam is the one who wants to get away from it because it's wrong. How he says he loves Dean as a brother and how Dean loves him so much more. Usually, the roles are reversed, but I love this. So much ( ... )

And I love you, even more!! It was a perfect feedback. You always give out the best. And sorry I've been so whiny lately. *slaps self* I need to get out of self-pity zone, eh? :-P

*beams* That is what I try to do, indeed. I know I love those in-depth and many layered stories (fanfic or otherwise) and so I try to get more and more in depth each one.

My favorite part? The game!

I am so glad. *wipes brow* I was very worried about this scene (and the dust devil bit before the truck sex--but mainly the game). I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, if it would be cheesy, unrealistic...etc. I kind of spazzed out on Katie and she had to calm me down before I posted. LOL

It's just so Dean.Whee! I was very nearly ready to say this was vindictive!Sam and wussy!Dean. I wasn't sure if he was too...sentimenta in it, but I really tried to go off of scenes like in Salvation and Shadows--those times when he does pour his heart out ( ... )

Just love it.

The confusion and the pain and the passing of years and the love, on both sides, and the snow demons and the lust devil, and you know, wanting and having but hating it :D

the writing style goes smoothly, good snark, good action :D

Yes, I really tried to go with that. Give Sam more complex feelings than just being evil!Sam (like I'd had originally).

Snark? Really? *beams* It's so rare I get something funny across. IMO.
