Glee? Heroes and a grab bag of recs

What is this Glee everyone has icons of and such? It looks like some sort of musical TV show...is it going to be like Fame, basically?

Also, anyone else see THIS spoilerish thing about Heroes? Thoughts? I think its a cop out. Also unlikely since we know how deep they are into other certain relationships...who needs this on top of it all? LOL

Thank you for that "Make the Man" SPN rec. Where did you find it? I want to make sure I'm a member of all the Dean/Cas comms out there. I want to dip my writing fingers into the angel pool (heh, that sounded dirty) soon. I just need the right idea for a fic.

You're welcome! I'm actually just a "friend" of the author. She has a lot of SGA and SPN fic I enjoy. I'm fairly sure it was her first Dean/Castiel (but hopefully not her last!).

I am all about you writing Dean/Castiel (or any of the angels). I think your stories will be great. :-)

Glee is a new highschool dramedy from FOX that has all the makings of being awesome. Centered around the highschool's Glee Club it's been described as being like 'Freaks & Geeks' meets 'High School Musical'.

The show itself doesn't start until the Fall Season but I think FOX showed the pilot about a month ago as a kind of sneak-peak.

The musical numbers - covers of popular songs performed by the members of the Glee Club - are really quite brilliant. You can check them out here if you're interested.
