David Hewlett's acting is always top-notch. While the plot is a little lame and the surgery with a power screwdriver? Not so much. But the acting by the whole cast, and that scene between McKay and Joe was amazing

I wanted to like Inquisition, but I think the writers dropped the ball. I did come out of the episode with a greater appreciation of Woolsey (and I quite liked seeing Lorne), but as for the rest of it? A disappointment.
And all of the "Let's shove Keller down our throats" episodes? Ick.

I like Keller and McKay/Keller, so I don't complain about it too much. Though I will be honest. I thought Rodney's last line in EatG was horrendous. Didn't mind the sentiment but who the hell wrote that line!?

Favs: Broken Ties (Jason Mamoa shines in the detox scenes and I loved that they didn't write Ronon as unbreakable), Daedalus Variations, The Shrine, The Lost Tribe (for the great Daniel and Rodney snark) and Vegas (because Flanigan gets to finally shine).
None of those episodes focus on Keller, either, always a plus - The Shrine comes closest, but it has the scene on the pier and I ignore the last few seconds. Rather like EatG, which irritates me because I'm afraid I'll break something falling through the plot holes.

Broken Ties was really good, you make good points. I guess I just got kind of annoyed by the "Ronon-gets-the 3/4th-ep" thing. I wanted to *really* like it, but couldn't for some reason.

I have a weak spot for The Queen mostly b/c I love Todd (and he didn't suck in that one like he did in Infection, ugh), and also I love Teyla being a badass. And in general I am fascinated by Wraith society. So, I picked Vegas, Enemy at the Gate, The Shrine, The Queen, and, eh, so I don't remember that well but I'll pick Search and Rescue for kicks.

But because I'm easy to please the only episode I didn't like was Tracker, but that's because I never finished it, and Outsiders. That one was lame.

IMHO the reason why so many fans hated it, is because it was centered around Keller and Rodney and/or it didn't have Sheppard in it.
