It's OK: Mini meta/rant on Brain Storm Haterz

Various entries in regards to Brain Storm (which upon seeing it I knew would come out in droves) have driven me from my homework shroud to comment on fandom for the first time in forever.

( I am cutting because I know someone will complain if I don't but there's like .05 percent amount of spoilers in this and that's within error range but whatever. If you saw a preview for the ep, you know everything here. )

I loved Brain Storm and I like Rodney/Jennifer, especially in this ep.

Rodney/John will always be my favourite pairing in SGA, but I started to ship them because of fanfiction and in the half of season four (I think, or maybe it was a hiatus between seasons... who knows now). Before that I was Rodney/Elizabeth shipper.

But most of all I respect canon. Always have. Anything other is part of the fandom. That's why I love fanfiction. You can imagine whatever you want.

Amen. I have no problem with people who write fandom around canon. Trust me, I did that with Katie. And katie, I saw a HUGE issue with. But I didn't write to the writers about how horrible it was or insult the writers for it. I just hated it. But Jennifer I see as a much better choice.

Umm... I just wrote out, and deleted, a brief version of Physicists In Love I Have Known, including a detailed description of the Physics Prodigy I Tried To Make Normal as a teen and how I kind of broke both of us in the process.

But I don't get a new dose of curmudgeon until the new year... (ran out back in August).
