(I also laughed hysterically at the Hull reference. Oh, Hull. Before I moved to Britain, I had a job interview with a national company over the phone and they were describing places they had jobs. "There's one in a lovely seaside town!" they tell me. "Oh, which one?" I ask. "Hull!" I start giggling, and then laughing. "Oh," they say, deflated. "You've heard of Hull, then?")
