i know that everyone thinks their baby is all that and a bag of baked lays cheddar and sour cream potato chips but Tristan has been having all sorts of milestones lately. a little less than 2 weeks ago, pretty much to the day he turned 5 months he started sitting up unsupported. a few days ago he figured out how to get up on all fours and rock back ( Read more... )

just a note...had our first earthquake a few minutes ago. it was little but it shook all the apartments. it only lasted about 5 seconds. Cynda came running over to ours because Curtis happened to be here helping Chad carry some stuff and she was all alone. yeah. shakey shake.

here i am in CA! still seems kind of weird. we are almost completely unpacked, we have about 4 boxes left. Cynda and i went to IKEA (which is awesome) and i bought 2 bookshelves, a desk for the computer, a TV stand, and a small chest of drawers for our room as well as some smaller things like a new floor lamp, bedsheets, scale, vase and bamboo, etc ( Read more... )
