Garden Update:

It's the rainy season here in Mexico City, so it rains every afternoon/evening.  This is summer here.  At night and in the morning, it is cold and rainy.  There is usually a period of sun and warmth during the day, but not always.  This is what spring is like in the US and Europe.  I don’t understand why the names reamin the same when the weather ( Read more... )

Well, "my wife's..." Heh! :)

She wants cats and flowers, but I am the one who ends up raising the cats (as she can't set limits or tell them 'no'.) and I am the gardener. She doesn't know the first thing about plants. She just thinks they're pretty. So, I tend them and keep them pretty for her. It's like a fucking Marian Garden. Heh! :)

Baby Piña is so poular! My wife's high school students will ask her about her cats just to get her to say Baby Piña. It's a funny name for a cat.

My doctor made a house call here. Later, when I wrote to thank him, he responded telling me to say 'hi' to Baby Piña. :)

Because she's more hues than colors, she is hard to photograph. Also, her eyes are a light, transparent blue that is really hard to capture on film.
