The aquarium is bizare, I can't even get my head around how it could possibly work, but I certainly wouldn't want to be a fish that tries to surface for a gulp of air!

I didn't know fish did that. Do they have to? Surface for air, that is. That deep fryer's rather claustrophobic for it then.

I found the Brain Gym article all the more HILARIOUS because in 6th grade, I had a Kiwi teacher who made us do brain gym! We totally did the brain button thing! And office messengers dropping off notes during our class would give us queer looks as we did so! You should ask Margaret and Tae-Yeoun, they were there also.

I don't know whether they have to but I've seen them do it before - the fish are apparently there just to demonstrate that it is actually water down there, and it's not meant to be an aquarium really.

I'll have to probe them about Brain Gym :D

Left: The Guardian, The Mirror.

Right: The Telegraph, The Daily Mail (yuk, I hate it so), The Times

Independent: The Independent.

Others tend to shift allegiances or just have no agenda other than tittle tattle. The Sun is generally right wing but has been known to support Labour.

This is exactly what I wanted, thanks! I assumed that since you're done with chronicling your Japan-working days you had abandoned LJ... do you still read around?

And I can't believe The Sun is included in that list!

My dad would add that the more painful it is, the more effective the patient thinks it is. Hydrogen peroxide works especially well because it bubbles dramatically.
