Well, I got fired. So now I'm trying to figure out what kind of job I can do with my degree (English) that isn't teaching, and not destroy my soul, before my money runs out.

Unfortunately, yes. It was calmer today, but I imagine it will take a few weeks for things to quiet down, especially now that it seems like the brother and step-father did it.

Awesome! Congrats, P! Fingers crossed for you. I'm in a contest of sorts for a major DT (the site I'm always on - ScrapInStyle - they are having a DT call and I've made it to round 3) and would be over the moon if I got it. It means lots of things if I make it - publication, classes, who knows - so fingers crossed there too.
