I have a brand new betta fish. Red fish died last week. It was sad because I thought I had saved him, but sometimes infections damage a fish's organs and they never recover. I miss him, but I also love my new betta. Drew and I got him from Petqua so he's not sickly from living in one of those awful little plastic containers Petco uses to keep

I miss my fish! I don't think I could have one though. Sage is too much of a killer. I haven't had any bettas for...God, five years?!

Drew and I put a cover over the bowl to keep Antigone away. She attacks the bowl for a few minutes and then gets bored and tries to find something else to kill.

My Beta, Gilgamesh II died, so I had to replace him as well with another that I have named Satchell Paige. I have a sweet bowl that mounts on the wall, which keeps cats away. Maybe that would help?
