Okay and what I did originally have in the comment about was that for some reason, it made me REALLY want to ship Dean/Susan.I erased it because she's all old here and it sounded creepy. BUT LIKE I REALLY REALLY WANT IT OMG. CAN'T WE SEND DEAN AND CAS TO WWII FOR SOME REASON? PLEEEEEASE? AND CAS CAN MEET LUCY WHILE SUSAN AND DEAN MAKE GOOGLY EYES TOGETHER.

And, if Sam comes, we can sneak in a Sam-is-an-abomination joke from Lucy. LOLOLOLZ.

BUT YOU SEE? DEAN AND SUSAN BOTH CHOSE THEIR OWN DESTINY, THEY LOOOOOOVE EACH OTHER.

SUUUUUUSAN. And also, I was thinking--the parallels with gaining/losing years. Dean loses then when he ages, gains them when he goes back to being young, but Susan...it's the other way around for her. :/

OH I LIKE THIS THOUGHT.

I really want (someone else) to write the followup to this fic where Dean goes back to England to find Susan and they talk about all this stuff. The gaining/losing years, how similar going to hell is to going to a different world and then being yanked back, about brothers. About sacrifice and death and how the hell do we ever even know if what we're doing is the right thing?

AWWW, yay! I'm so glad! I am recently gaining a new love for the early seasons, but really 4 and 5 will just blow your mind. Happy watching!

Okay, I sound snobby saying this, but I'm totally NOT. Yesterday's reruns were the last two episodes of Season 1 and I found them so *grating* and not enjoyable at all! UGH. I mean, I'm used to having the last two episodes be these amazing, intense, emotionally charged, completely epic dramatic transition-conclusions. (I say this. of course, based only on 4 and 5.) And those two from Season 1 were just NOT delivering at ALL. Even the car crash was lame! Even Season 2's finale was exponentially better than that! Show, I am trying to figure out why I watched you and enjoyed you when you were sooooo weird and lame in the old days. It might just be because you aired after Ugly Betty on Thursdays.

I say this with love in my heart, really. Because SPN clearly evolved into a more advanced wonderful thing. And like, if I popped Lazarus Rising I know my jaw would drop and I'd remember why I love it. Really. But OMG, Sam wearing those long-sleeved shirts under short-sleeved polos. ?????

LOLOLOL maybe it's because I never saw so many of the early episodes. It's really fun watching them for the first time.

Besides, any issues with Sam's wardrobe are completely negated by the fact that his hair does not look like a flat-ironed mop.

I sort of want Lucy to be a vessel, but then I actually don't because she needs to be herself when she blows Cas' mind with her faith and practicality and knowledge of God's favorite joke.
