That's terrific! I love it - and hope you write it, one way or another (fic, academia). Also, it jumped my mind back to Skelton's poem about a parrot; he has the parrot praying for Katherine, calling her "a peerless pomegranate":
Kateryne incomparable, our ryall quene also, That pereles pomegarnet...

(I think he's praying. Maybe he's only bowing to her.)
