Your Mike is delightful. Rather mad but still super well-adjusted for it. And pretty damn intuitive too. Although I hafta say that John has some common sense! Comparatively. To Sherlock. Um.

To be fair, even though I know that John can be a dangerous individual, I would still totally cuddle the hell outta him. :(

Yeah, okay, I can totally see that thought process going on in his mind. The man was way too smug and amused by their first meeting to be anything close to ignorant on how they'd get along like a house on fire.

:D I'm so glad you liked it! Haha, I also love Mike's smirky face. He's stealthy about it, but really he is a bad, bad man. He was SO smug about that first meeting--it's lucky for him that John was too distracted to pick up on that. Heh.

And I definitely agree that John has all the common sense in 221b. FOR WHATEVER THAT'S WORTH.

I would still totally cuddle the hell outta him. lol, so would I, but I think this means Mike has a better sense of self-preservation than either of us. XD

Oh my god. XD I love the way you characterize Mike. How he's kind of a normal bloke but really not that much, if the way he reacts to Sherlock is an indication. I really enjoyed that detached fascination/amusement he has for the spectacle. It's kind of odd in a way I could see Sherlock being mildly interested in, even a little creepy in that indifference to whether he's going to enjoy their happiness or some schadenfreude, but very interesting all the same.

And finally, John Watson from Barts, more for his potential than for anything he’d gone and done. But he’d had amazing potential, and part of what was amazing about it was that no one but Mike seemed to see it.
Love that he sees that, too. Ngh. Yes, John is badass and don't you forget it! Also really kind of fucked up. Mmmh.

Also enjoyed how he's all "oh god my students, was I ever this young... welp, I was." XD
