to me, your lust here is more 'lust' then she has ever been in the manga/anime if that makes any sense (and i'm pretty sure it doesn't - it's supposed to be a compliment, anyway) :D

Yeah...she did always seem oddly chaste in the series, but, well. She was distracted by that whole world domination plan, probably. Arguably the Father guy had his lust under control, not so much his greed? idk.

Oh wow, you weren't kidding when you said this would be disturbing. I really like your behind-the-scenes interpretation of Lust, it makes her much more interesting. The anime portrayed her as more of a tragic romantic, which made her more human but not nearly homicidal enough.

Yeah, the anime did some weird thing that I didn't really follow in which the sins were kind of dead people? I guess? In the manga they were much more sin-like, although Lust was always very goal-oriented about that whole taking over the world thing. Which seems odd, too, but hey. ^_^

Well, I guess the age of the target audience was around 15, so maybe that explains it. ^_^ Lust was always one of my favorite bad guys, though.

This is excellent and very vivid. The idea that she lusts to possess every inch and part of her targets makes for a compelling portrayal. Her focus on Jean would have been enough in an of itself, but her assessment of some of the other players adds a lot. Great fic!
