This fic is Oz's reaction to ch. 60, which is to say it's a total rubbing salt into the wound kind of fic. At least it's short?

♥ Hurts so gooooooood. The yandere parts scared me a lot but it's totally expectable from Oz right now.
... I'm probably a terrible person but I really really enjoy the latest developments. Even though I did like Elliot a lot.

(You noticed that "Let's give a plot-relevant backstory to a major-but-not-main-character, use it as an excuse to destroy their life entirely, and then kill them in a beautiful, meaningful, and gruesome way just to traumatize the hero" trend in manga lately... ?)

Well. It's going to be awesome, for one thing. BUT ALSO REALLY BAD.

I see why you like it. I like it myself, with every part of me that isn't ENRAGED. Plotwise, it's amazing, and when I reread all the Elliot and Leo chapters in a fit of masochism, I could see that she'd been planning this from the moment they first appeared. On the one hand, that's so cool. On the other hand, I COULD CHOKE HER. The Holy Knight thing! THAT WAS GRATUITOUS. I can't believe she did that, I can't believe she created random goofy omake material that mocks the future pain of her readers, WHAT KIND OF SADIST DOES THAT. WHAT.

Seriously, it has been a rough month in manga. Is this some kind of conspiracy? ;_;

I think you've just summed up my feelings in regard to the latest action in Pandora Hearts. 'Xcept the other way around. REALLY BAD, BUT AWESOME. I COULD CHOKE HER, but SO COOL.
She is such a total sadist. Have I mentioned I think she really, honestly hated Elliot's guts? (as opposed to loving Gil and thus loving to torture him)

FFFffffffffu are you kidding me I was not aware of the Holy Knight special thing. *googles frantically* The anime omake, right? with the I WANTED TO BEAT EDWARD UPSIDE THE HEAD FOR GIVING EDWYN SUCH A BURDEN line, right? ... Also, no, Oz, you do not want Gil to be like Edward. You really don't.

Oh, I don't know if she hated Elliot. I mean, she gave him that face, that FACE! And all those winning lines. And then there was tiny!Elliot. <3 <3 <3 And that time when he shamed himself by unsuccessfully trying to use cuteness to get his way with his siblings! This all speaks to me of authorly love. It's just that it doesn't help you much, as a character, when the author who loves you is a SADIST.

Further to which! Holy Knight--I'm glad the anime kept that. <3 The manga had an omake way back in Vol. 6, which...I cannot find a scanlation of ANYWHERE. D: It was basically a brief summary of Holy Knight. Then Oz and Elliot discussed their favorite scenes/characters (or at least they did until they started fighting about it, at which point Leo beat them down). It's clear that Edgar (who feels that his indifference to his own welfare is his greatest strength) is everything Oz would like to be, while Edwin (Let us go forth to a brighter tomorrow! Never give up!) is everything Elliot would like to be. And Elliot hates everything Edgar

Seriously, poor Gil. ;_; It's doubly distressing that he's completely ignoring his own pain in favor of fretting over Oz. But. That's what he always does. *headdesk* I think everybody in Pandora Hearts is pretty much already insane. But...well, there is always a lower place... o_O

It's painful, it makes you wanna burn everything till it all turns into ashes, because it's not fair that the sun still shines bright on a world without Elliot. And the last phrase is just perfectly... argh. It kind of hurts.

I feel like this deserves a more decent comment but I actually feel like I'm channeling Oz now and therefore feel very empty D: YOU MADE IT WORSE :< No, in all fairness this was brilliant. I think you caught everyone's emotions very well (I was about to rip my heart out at any mentions of Leo) and it feels very IC in regards to what's happening now. As in, no one is actually crying or being dramatic in your story but you can feel it all underneath. It's very dry (maybe not the word I was looking for) and calm but oooh man someone will snap!

I demand you write some flashback cheerful Elliot/Leo ;__; ...wait, that would make me CRY. I just still cannot believe she killed him off. Why must my favourites ALWAYS die? So. That brings some questions. If Leo was, ugh, desperate enough to make Elliot an illegal contractor when he was about to die, what will he do now? :D .... D: /monster of a comment

Ahh, exactly. Happy Elliot/Leo at this point would just be... ;________; I...I could write horrible Glen-in-Leo's-head fic? Wherein Glen chatters away at length about how this is actually all all all Leo's fault (as Glen is prone to do; Glen is a much less courteous head-guest than Jack) until Leo goes screamingly insane and tries to blow up the entire world.

But, you know, hang on a month or two, and I think canon may do that for us. o_o Leo does have Glen's soul, and we all know how Glen responded to loneliness. SET IT ALL ON FIRE AND CHUCK IT INTO THE ABYSS.

Oh, Gil. If Gil snaps...idk, it seems like no matter how scary that got, Oz and Jack would still just shake their head(s) and pinch his cheeks. Maybe I give Gil too little credit. ^_^
