the dangers of morbid fascination

Soooo...

Remember the scene right after the whole Suman Dark debacle when one of the finders is crying and asking if they can send his commander's body home? And Komui says, "No, hell no, what kind of dream world are you living in?"

Well. It made me wonder what it was like to be a finder, which is clearly an idea I should never have allowed myself to ( Read more... )

Wah.

The end killed me.

I had many lines I wanted to quote but the end killed me.

“But I don’t want the goddamn world to end,” Carlos shot back.
*loves you like crazy*

Thank you for writing <3

Sorry the end killed you. o_O This took a very long time to write because I had to keep stopping and taking breaks from the DEPRESSING.

Oh, the finders.

But I'm glad you liked it anyway! :)

This was so good, oh jesus.

First of all, the finder point of view made it so interesting, partially because it was different and offered a new perspective, one I hadn't thought about. I liked seeing and hearing about the exorcists from a different view point, and you wrote it really well.
And yeah, it was really well written and I loved it. Thanks for posting!

Thank you very much!

I'm so happy you liked the finder perspective! It was a risk, doing it this way. There are so few finders we actually know; so many OCs necessary. D: But that was also what made it interesting to think about. It's a perspective we never get in canon. Glad it worked!

Oh god, I don't even have words, but that's a lie because I'm going to ramble now about how utterly wonderful that is

Everything you write is spectacular, honestly, and it's always from a different angle than all those other fics out there-this was no exception, was a breath of fresh air and just guh. wonderful. If it were a smell, I would bottle it. And that sounds so weird and doesn't make much sense, but it. was. marvelous. Your writing is excellent, and the concept is as well, and just the whole freaking thing was klfdm, glsdk
The characterization for the Finders was lovely, and their descriptions of the Exorcists were just so perfect, as was the interaction with Lavi and Allen.

I am going to go now before I sound even sillier, but all in all ♥

Oh, good, you liked the finders! Yay!

The finder perspective is such an interesting one--after all, they're only human. And surrounded by divinely chosen superhumans who must be...scary as all get-out. :D

Thank you so much for the comment! *relieved you liked it* ^_^

Guh! I think you are now officially one of my favourite writers.

My god! Normally writing about a finder and one we've never even met, wouldn't appeal, which is such a shame, but this, this just goes to show that everything should be given a chance. You managed to make me love your characters, I adore(d) - sob - Sarah, and Carlos is a fucking riot. Hee! And you showed more characterisation coming out of these guys than a lot of other people do writing about the characters we know a lot more about. The slight changes in character that opened them up to me as a reader, wonderful ( ... )

Thank you so much! :D

It was really tough to write a summary for this fic that made it sound remotely appealing. I kept thinking, "It's depressing and overrun by OCs.... Right, that sounds FANTASTIC." I'm glad you gave it a try!

Oh, Lavi. I love him too. He's such a shining example of "intelligence makes you crazy." ^_^

Thanks again, and I'm happy you liked it!

At a lack of appropriate words, I say this was beautiful, and goddamn epic!
