Obednitsa, anyone?

Fr Pantelejmon and Fr Styridon are leaving tomorrow for a holiday at their home monastery in Serbia. While they're away we're going to be leading the Obednitsa at St Thomas's Church on alternate Sundays.

If that sounds really boring, it probably is, so don't bother to read past the cut ( Read more... )

Even if it is just the few of you and the angels, doing the services in church will be worth the trouble. Would be nice if there were more transportation available for your group. May God bless your efforts!

We had the Obednitsa today, and it went quite well, except I spilt some hot charcoal and burnt a hole in the carpet.
