Flawed quiz?

I saw this quiz in a friend's journal. It's definitely flawed. The quiz author seems to be operating with caricatures of the way people think and believe and behave.

I didn't even know how to take it, considering I couldn't give a straight answer to most of the questions. It is based on a bunch of false dichotomies.

"Scientific" and "Spiritual" as opposites? They exist on different axes. There should be an axis that has "spiritual" at one end, and "absolute materialism" at the other end. And another axis with "scientific" at one end, and "folk belief" or "non-discursive" at the other.

Same with the opposition of faith and reason.

It's set up to be preposterous.

Quite. The first question is "Do you believe that man was created in the form of God, or that man evolved from other species?" It doesn't seem to occur to the author that I might very well believe both.

Yes - it is indeed flawed! As with many commenters it offered no provision for neither option or both.

Well, the quiz told me that I was a taoist. Definitely false dichotomies. It was quite irritating to have to choose between some of those pairs.
