At first, Jenny wasn’t sure if Vanessa was doing this to get to her brother, because everybody knew that she had a thing for him, even if she was trying to be supportive of the whole gaga over Serena deal. Not so many people knew that Vanessa could climb through Jenny’s window just as easily as Dan’s, and when she did she was pushed onto the bed rather than pushed out the door. Jenny still wasn’t sure what Vanessa’s motives were, but honestly, she didn’t care. So long as Vanessa stayed right where she was, Jenny could be happy. Really.
At first, Vanessa wasn’t sure if this was such a wise course of action. Jenny was gorgeous, Jenny was adorable, but Jenny was also related to her best friend. Dan would be upset with her for fucking his little sister, she suspected. But Jenny was nothing like Dan (Dan’s hair didn’t pose as much of a beautiful obstacle as Jen’s, for one) and Vanessa only cottoned on to the fact that Jenny thought she was using her as Dan’s replacement when Jenny started crying and Vanessa told her: ‘Why would I think about him, when I can think about you?’
