At least it's a little more reassuring to know that things will be okay for them back home, but even if it's bad, it helps to know they probably have people at home to support them. [Though with Jacob it's hard. She knows what he's going back to, and she knows that Bella's probably doomed which is killing Jake himself.]

He'll be back. It might be a few months or even a year, but he'll be back. He's a lot like another good friend of mine.

I've had a lot of people leave and come. Sometimes they remembered, sometimes they didn't. That's where it gets hard to pinpoint what actually decides who remembers and who doesn't.

I think I just have a different perspective because we've traveled between the worlds back home. I think I just keep telling myself that when I go home, I can find a way to get to the worlds of the friends I've lost here.

It's sad, definitely. I hope you never have to experience it.

Yeah, it's possible if you have a ship. Before a few years ago, we didn't know it was possible either.
