Right, so, while most people are coming up with plans for shelter and crap, I think we should DO something if that monster does try to rampage where we don't want it. Because I sure as hell don't want to have to move again or spend days trying to dig up buried vassals

Tch, no. And even if I did, I doubt that's a good idea. Magic and people's own abilities are way more reliable than throwing around explosives.
