So, after all this text about the place, here are some pictures.

Stuff is coming together, we're still drowning in boxes but some parts of the place are actually pretty presentable. We should be utterly gone from the other place this week.

The cats are going to love those stairs. I sense much sitting and observing from half way up in the cards. The place seems big. Do you guys have enough furniture to fill it up? Also, do you guys have to buy your own appliances or will the landlord be depositing them before you move in? Because you know, kitchens become a bit useless without them.

We bought appliances and they've been delivered and hooked up; they just didn't make it into any of the nice pictures ;) Hydro-Quebec is helping us pay for them, they're spiffy new energy-efficient ones.

Noisette already watches us from about three stairs below the ceiling. She's a bit small to come down stairs gracefully, but she'll soon be leaping from them, I'm sure. She also likes packing paper.

And I think we have enough furniture: it won't be stuffed, and we'll probably acquire a thing or two that we're missing (bean bags have been discussed and will probably be acquired), but all in all it seems like a good fit.

Maybe once we get rid of all the boxes it'll feel a bit cavernous, but I doubt it :)

Wow. I think I visited this house a while back.... when the whole thing was for sale... or maybe I'm just mistaken.
