I have arrived, luggage and all, in London. The flight was turbulent at times but on time and pretty uneventful. Oo! think of all the excitingly horrible british food you can have! Watercress sandwiches, oatmeal... jacket potatoes... Everything necessary to inspire you to, like men in England before you, drink heavily or colonize culinarily superior nations!

So far, I've had an Italian salami sandwich, and fish and chips at "Bob's Fish Hut and Best Turkish Kebabs" ... so all those little nations are safe from me for now.

I'll do the last-minute presentation synching and then enjoy some reasonably priced and very good beer around here... I'm returning to Verdun (and EDT) on Wednesday.
