Alright. Fine.

So I gave in. I'm doing the blasted karaoke, but I do get to be Simon Cowell for the day.

Now I have to think what bloody song to sing. Jesus, you don't half make life difficult for me sometimes.

Now. Where do I start?

*grins* You're doing karaoke?

...Is there a special version of the New Testament you don't get til you convert, or something?

Good for you.

*grins* Could be worse. Could be adorable.

No, there's the bible and there's the truth.

Keep that up young lady and I will make sure you sing something atrociously embarasing AND in a costume.

Ah. Okay. Rufus got left out, huh? Poor guy.

Former member of the spandex brigade, here. Costumes don't phase me, no pun intended. *raises an eyebrow* How embarrassing?

Yes, unfortunately. Because he was a black man, he says.

If you ever meet him, or Serendpity, I am sure they will explain it to you at great length. And one of these days they want to publish a 'better' version, without all that senseless mysogyny, racism or prejudice and misunderstanding the church leaders have worked in over the years.

You asked for it now. I'm sure even you can still be embarassed. How about I try and make you as embarassed as I was last time around?

...Wait...Israel's in Africa. You're telling me he was the only black Apostle?

Sounds good to me. Can they work in a "Jesus does not support Nazis" clause?

...Even if I say no, you're going to, aren't you?

The blackest. *shrugs*

'Jesus does not support Nazis, homophobes, mass genocide and televangelists'? *shrugs* I'm not the one to ask but I hear he is drawing up new commandments.

*grins* What gives you that idea?

Huh.

Ooo, I like that. "Do not use my words as an excuse to go kill each other"? How many is he thinking of?

Because for the Voice of God, you're rather devious. I'd say evil, but I'm not sure that can technically apply here.

*laughs* You'd think the 'love thy enemy' but would have got the point across but no. I don't know how many. Ten maybe, but Morden wants one devoted to banning bad films unless the directors have a good sense of humour.

*bows lowly* I learned from the greatest, my dear.

*shrugs* We're a thickheaded race.

Can there be one about not waking your neighbor at seven AM? That would be a good one.

I can imagine.

I had noticed. And possibly, but that should come under 'Think about other people'...

Thought you might have. *nods* That's a good place to put it under. And it's a very important one.

People still tend to ignore them even if they spell things out.

*sighs* True. Though at least one could shove it in their faces and hopefully inspire some guilt.
