Most of the above, in one way or another. Triggered by lots of things- something someone says, something going on in a friend's life, something going on in my life, a book I read that triggers reflection, a TED talk that triggers an emotional response (the most recent: the photographer who lost 3 limbs to a landmine, and whose compassion and at-one-ness moved me, and moved me right into the right now). Writing checks to pay essentials and wondering how long that is going to last. Missing family and old friends, missing the place I feel I most belong. Not wanting to miss the place I am, as out of place as it feels much of the time, and knowing I will always be here.
