really, i am too tired to be posting. but if i wasn't, i would love to wail about the injustice of finals, especially when they're all due on the same day. now i'm off to take a nap, which i will pretend was a full night's sleep, and then begin working again. here's to me surviving this time of sheer misery and exhaustion.

hello all,  leaving tomorrow to go on another ten-day retreat in the land of vipassana (!), so i'll be out of reach until the 7th of january.  hope you all had a merry christmas, and that you have a wonderful beginning to the new year.

Bunnies. There are bunnies here. That's about the state of the nation, as far as I can see. I won't start classes for a week, so I'm just poking about and "settling in", as they say. i am back in st.louis, it is good and strange and busy. life at the meditation center was intense and exhausting, but also joyful and amazing. i kind of didn't want to leave.... ever. but, since a ride magically came to bring me back to st.louis, here i am. and i will be arriving in dallas by plane on august 19th. it can't possibly be hotter there ( Read more... )
