I mean, seriously, once the kid realizes the scope of that capability? You're getting into serious Stephen King territory if neither of the parents realize that the ability is even a thing.
Which now makes me wonder just how many Force-sensitive kids grow up without ever being discovered (with occasionally horrific consequences). I mean, the Republic/Empire are enormous places and AFAICT the Jedi (and Sith) can't even muster enough personnel to have someone on each planet, much less checking it for possible recruits.

Thank you. :)
My personal headcanon is that Obi-Wan is a massive Jedi snob (hardly unknown amongst elites) so when he says the Force affects the weak-minded, he means, the Force affects people who can't use the Force. So Han would be an easy victim but Leia would catch it.
The Junebug has been demanding to hear the story of Star Wars daily for months, so I have been telling and retelling it, and I have developed a LOT of opinions about various aspects of that universe. Particularly the Force.
And yes, an unexpectedly Force-using kid would be a nightmarish thing. Amoral little beasts that they are.

Yeek.
(Your artwork, however, is awesome. :D )
