How could an ancient, ill-educated, unenlightened, unsophisticated, rich, old white man (according to liberals) be so prescient? Because he read Plato, Hobbes, Montesquieu, Lock, etc. and understood human nature and the nature of power and tyranny.

I'm so sorry, great men and dear souls ... and all other dear souls who sacrificed so much to give us this great gift. We have squandered it and thrown it into the trash for filthy lucre. We didn't have what it takes and are now paying the price ... and it will get far worse.
