AND HERE HE GETS ACCOSTED BY NY MAYOR MICHAEL BLOOMBERG ARMED GUARDS
You see, there are two sets of rules... one for the "little people" and one for their rulers.
Jason Mattera asked New York Mayor Bloomberg, who has his own 24/7 armed security while demanding gun control on the rest of his constituents, a simple question:
“In the spirit of gun control, will you disarm your entire security team?”
The mayor blew him off and so Mattera asked again:
“Why can you defend yourself but not the majority of Americans? Look at the team of security you’ve got. And you’re an advocate for gun control?”
Moments later after Bloomberg continued on his way, one of Bloomberg's guards, reportedly Officer Stockton of the NYPD, stopped Mattera and asks to see a photo ID.
Mattera complied but expressed his protest at being singled out as a reporter for special treatment. At one point the officer appeared to begin writing down Mattera's name before he apologized and stopped. Later Mattera is even asked his date of birth and replies, "“It’s none of your business what my date of birth is.”
This is the kind of intimidating treatment a reporter can get when asking tough questions of politicians like Bloomberg.
