Ah, but the thing is you don't know when you're about to talk to someone. So, like, you can run into one of your lecturers at a bus stop or whatever, and you don't know whether to just nod or participate ina conversation. And then, if you DO take them off, there's this awkward look in their eyes of "Damn, they took off their headphones. Now I'm obligated to take the next step and come up with an opening sentence."
You have a point. Let's just say I'm not the greatest fan of people or forced conversations, the ear phones stay in untill the other person begins a conversation.
analysts say teh US is due for a downfall from its position as a world leader as most leading nations colapse from within after 110 or so years. you can see this with the american population joking about their own president. what's to happen no-one knows, but we shall find out soon enough if what they say is true; and whatever it is, some of it won't be nice.
in a few decades, we'll look back on this period of innocence as the good days before we get corrupted by the 'blood' of others. of course most will chnage and adapt their mindsets to this loss of innocence, but there will always be the diehards who will stick with it no matter what; and there will be those that deny it ever happened and still claim to be innocent.
