( He’s caught in this awful in-between, this vortex of repeating history. He watches himself as he does things, like he’s a man possessed. Watches himself methodically destroy everything around him, burn every bridge. )

Haha, well, considering there's a very small handful of my fics that aren't angsty, I figured I should put the rest on some sort of scale.

OH. Duh. Yes, Angsty Damon is fun to write (is it really only a small portion of fic writers that do that? I'm kind of surprised!). Though, then again, I can manage to make ANY character angsty, and Damon is just a wealth of angst fodder, so.

Wow! That was delicious! I thought you did a great job of keeping it in Damon's voice. I've often thought that he's super resistant to change, so it felt pretty right to me. Keep up the good work.

Thanks so much! I'm glad it didn't seem too OOC. He's a hard one to get right, that's for sure. Which, while nicely intriguing in the show, is difficult to write!

So glad you got sucked in! Love it, love it, love it. This is just how I like my angst - well-written, developed, recognizable characters - it hurts so good. I really hope you write more because the hiatus is unbearable but excellent fanfic like yours really help.
