Dear Mods,

My user name tag didn't work. Would you be so kind as to fix it? Mucho thanks.

OMG! You did the vintage poster style! And R/T! There are no words for how awesome I think that combination is! So, so cool!

You have absolutely captured the contrast of these two emotions, and I think it's most powerfully conveyed through the eye contact in Affection and the refusal to meet her eyes in Rejection. I also really love how you've altered the details in Rejection: there's so much texture and light in Affection, highlighting their hair, and soft shadows; but in rejection their hair seems so flat and lifeless, and the shadows on their faces make them look so gaunt and their clothes so rumpled and...well, sad. Clearly they haven't been looking after themselves in Rejection, while in Affection they're taking care of each other.

Wow. So, so cool. I'm so glad you made it in time!

I thought you'd appreciate the classic style. Once I thought to include the prompt words in the piece, I knew it had to be done like a poster. I'm happy with the way it turned out but felt a bit rushed at the end (deadlines tend to do this) and may revisit them again before posting to my own journal.

but in rejection their hair seems so flat and lifeless

I have to chuckle at this cos the reason it's this way is because it was close to midnight and I was tired and just wanted to finish and post!

Good job on getting yours wrapped up in time. Remus' line at the end about Tonks looking in the wrong place for a husband and apologizing for it just killed me.

Aw, thanks. I'm glad the line had the desired affect. ;) Still gotta try and do something with that epilogue!

Ooh, pretty.
Especially the "Affection" one (but that may just be because it's less sad...)
If these were real posters, I'd totally put them up on my wall.
:)

Thanks! Sorry both of them couldn't have been more of a happy nature but those are the prompts I was dealt. But we know that it all turns out alright in the end...or do we? Bwahahahaha (Crosses fingers for a Remus/Tonks happy ending in DH.)

I LOVE the vintage style! You do it really well.

Also, how cute is the first one?! I just want to say 'awwww'! XD

The font and the outlining of it looks awesome!

Great job!

Hey, thanks! I've been trying different styles in my R/T art and I may revisit this one again. I think the font styles are very important to conveying the mood of the piece and I'm glad you thought they worked.

Oh, I ADORE these!! Love the style, and the "paper" background, and the lettering -- all great choices. I adore the way Tonks and Remus really resemble one another in the Rejection piece, hair color, eye circles, and all. Affection is simply perfect, the way Tonks' body leans into Remus', the way her arms drape his shoulders. These are simply fabulous!! (Oh, and is that a radiator in the background? ;))

LOL! actually it's meant to be a fence (possibly outside No. 12 Grimmauld?) that they're leaning against but art is subjective so take it anyway you like. ;)

I'm glad you liked them and thanks for leaving such kind thoughts. I noticed you've posted a story but there were so many coming in last night that I haven't had a chance to get to but a few of them. Too many R/T fic? Not a bad thing, me thinks.
