I really enjoy reading this story. It's really great how the combination of the romance and the suspenseful adventure story fits. And all the characters feel so right, just how I would imagine them to react to such situations.

My apologies for taking so long to getting around to replying to this. Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review. :)

I'm always a bit of a sucker for romance, but I really wanted to play on the idea that troubles are better handled between two, and after wondering how much easier the HBP year would have been for Remus if they'd stuck together.

While I hope you didn't hurt yourself jumping off your chair, I am pleased that Snape's arrival surprised you.;) It's so hard to know if the surprise factor is there when you know exactly what is going to happen.

Remus' reaction to the news of Snape's arrival was difficult to pitch -- balancing the emotion we saw in the hospital scene and his usual level-headed demeanour.

Thank you very much. Especially for calling the shower scene sexy, because you must be the most discerning shower scene readers about. ;)

I've enjoyed working out the dynamics of Remus and Tonks' relationship as they work though personal and professional issues, and the partnership they have in both, which is very much a give and take situation depending on their needs. It stuck me that Remus would be the more vulnerable one here and that in the wake of finally admitting that he needs Tonks, would feel comfortable enough to show that to her.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed the combination of romance and suspense scenes, it's been great to be able to combine it in a fic.
