Wow, this is really excellent. The scratch marks are a fantastic detail, and Tonks' expression says it all. This completely captures what her first experience with his transformations would really look like. Very well done.
Oh, wow, very powerful -- I'm completely drawn to Tonks's eyes here; her expression is just so full of emotion. I can just imagine her turning up and realizing that full moons are much worse for Remus than she'd known -- but then the way she's leaning toward him makes it clear that she's not horrified by him at all, but by what he has to go through.
Thank you so much! You have picked up on so much of what I tried to put into the drawing. It is very gratifying. :) In my mind Tonks was probably telling herself it would be bad, but to actually see such a thing happen to a person you really care about must have been heartwrenching. Yet her loyal and true personality makes her empatise instead of being horrified by him. (obviously, I thought a lot about this!) Thank you again for commenting.
Oh this is stunning with it's eye for detail and stark use of setting and tone. Love how Remus is defenseless and pained and Tonks is conflicted with the mix of horror and desperate need to be there for him...beautiful!
