“Do you think my nose is big?” asked Remus with a frown.
“Yes it is, now bugger off!” replied the mirror into which Remus was gazing. Remus scowled at the unhelpful article and turned round to get the opinion of the person the question had actually been directed to.
“Course it isn’t,” replied Tonks, only slightly distracted by the task of getting both shoes on without falling over. Remus might have thought she looked adorable had the issue at hand not been so pressing.
“Tonks…” he warned. The Professor wanted a proper answer.
Having successfully gotten both shoes on, Tonks straightened up and stepped towards Remus.
“Of course I don’t think your nose is big” she said softly.
“You don’t?” Remus seemed surprised by her answer.
“Snape’s nose is big, yours is… Roman.”
“Isn’t that just another way of saying it’s big?”
Tonks stretched up on to tiptoes and pressed a quick kiss to the tip of Remus’ nose.
“Your nose is perfect, no matter what that silly mirror says.”
“Roman?” queried Remus whilst running a long finger down the bridge of his nose. “I suppose it could be worse, at least it goes with my name!”
“Course it could be worse, you could have greasy hair…”
