Much as I enjoyed your foray into angst in the first round, you do a splendid job with humour, and this made me laugh a lot. I really lvoed your Ron, trying to hex people with a flacid fish, and the thought of Umbridge with a crush on Snape is priceless.

Aw, thanks. I really should've been reading instead of writing I think--I haven't had time to read yet. Real life is such an interference! Anyway, I'm glad you got a little chuckle out of it! Thanks for reading and commenting. :)

I agree, it's terribly wrong, and quite awful, and I had to squint while I typed the end.
With a couple of shape-shifters, they ought to be able to demonstrate unconditional love regardless of appearance, right? But... what an appearance... gah! I read a fic once featuring Umbridge lusting after Snape. That fic wasn't supposed to be funny, but the mental image was unforgettable! lol

Adorably and halariously funny. Allthough with the end bit, I was with Ron in that I wasn't certain whether I should laugh out loud or be completely horrified. Great job!

I cringed when I wrote it! What an unpleasant visual. I was trying to keep in mind that it was really Tonks and Remus in disguise, and they love each other regardless of appearance, but the mental image was tough to work with, lol.

Sometimes my imagination wanders away from me and gets itself into trouble. I probably should've added a warning telling people not to read if they've eaten recently! But I'm glad you got a chuckle out of it! lol

I know! Harry will not be allowed to plan anyone else's birthday party! ;)
On p 362 of OotP, it says 'Snape and Umbridge, the two teachers he hated most... it was hard to decide which he wanted to triumph over the other.' And wondering which would come out on top is what started the whole nasty thing... ;)
