You address one of the big Remus mysteries: just what does that anti-werewolf legislation involve?

I really like the approach you've taken to the marriage question here, how Remus doesn't just go in and ask, but goes in and tells why he should have that right, and has his witnesses all lined up. Which was a really inspired use of your character prompts, and I thought you did a great job with them, especially Harry, the slightly smart-arsed. :)

The one bit of concrit I had was that there is a bit of information relayed (about Tonks being a Metamorphmagus, and the incident with Remus' transformation on the school grounds) that I would have thought the Wizengamot would already have known well.

But overall, I think you've done a really good job with this, especially with writing so many character voices!

Harry+Umbridge= snark abound! :)

Thank you! The Wizengamot most likely knew about Tonks being a Metamorphmagus-- but I took some author's liberties there. :D Remus's transformation though, Dumbledore might not have let slip to the Ministry. Though with Lucius Malfoy in the picture.....

Thanks again for the review! :D

I was so worried that they were going to vote against them.

I have a feeling Tonks was on the Hogwarts Debate Team. :)

Thank you for the lovely review!

I love the idea of Tonks "being a little short today". Oh course she wouldn't get out of bed and measure herself each morning, and if she changes for work purposes...well...

I think its great!

LOL, I just got a hilarious image of Tonks holding a ruler up to her body, and seeing just how tall she was each morning. :)

Thank you for the great review!

This is such a satisfying story. I love seeing Umbridge get taken down a peg or two. Harry's thinly veiled cheekiness made me laugh. Arthur is so sweet, insisting that Remus is more of a gentleman than he is. And good old fierce Tonks -- I like the way you've written her here, with some of the Black pride coming through. The recurring theme of Remus and Tonks comforting each other by holding hands/knees under the table is a wonderful detail that nicely represents their love and trust. And the ending makes me just want to say awww.

I think that while trying to seperate herself from her family, Tonks still contains many of their traits. A sense of pride, perhaps. Or maybe the "off" sense of humour. :)
