She was doing Sneed a favour really. If she’d attended the party, she’d have been forced to kill him for the sake of her sanity and her mother always frowned on people who made a mess on her carpets.

*snort!*

Oh, that was marvellous! The stuffed vulture was hilarious and the last line was great. :D

Just read this back-to-back with Mistletoe, and this is a really smashing continuation. You always have such a way of blending a comical situation, relationship angst, and romance. I particularly enjoyed Tonks' internal voice throughout. Your Tonks is such a witty, passionate counterpart to your Remus - who, as always, I just adore, especially when he's reacting so calmly to the stuffed vulture in his face and Tonks' elbows in his stomach.

Caught a typo at the end: "Because that’s what I want to.”

Really lovely read, thanks for doing a sequel. Though I think maybe you ought to do a third to give us that private, special kiss. ;)

I really enjoyed this! Tonks was adorable. I wouldn't worry about her voice at all, because it was very good.

"her mother always frowned on people who made a mess on her carpets."
That cracked me up! Such the way I pictured Andromeda.

Loved the carol. Good job! :)

This was fun!

Loved these bits about Andromeda: "She was doing Sneed a favour really. If she’d attended the party, she’d have been forced to kill him for the sake of her sanity and her mother always frowned on people who made a mess on her carpets.

...
When trying to escape a daughter of the House of Black who was determined to feed you mince pies and marry you off to the dullest man alive, an unplottable, Fidelius-charmed house was really the only way to go."

LOL!

And Tonks's inner conflict was great, with the humiliation and anger and hurt all mixed up inside of her.

And then when Remus is talking to her and she's letting her humiliation distract her from what he's saying I love how you play out her realization that he cares for her too:
"Don’t want to hear, don’t want to hear, don’t want to… what?

Did he just say…?

She met his eyes. They filled her world.

And they whispered… they said…

Oh sweet Merlin.Very effective switch from humiliation to hope, and you make great use of white space ( ... )
